INSTRUCTIONS:

DAY 01 – 03

  • Fresh wound : The tattoo is fresh and may leak a bit of ink & plasma, this is normal. You have second skin applied to the tattoo, this is waterproof + breathable, it will allow your tattoo to heal in a sterile environment.

  • For the first 3 days, leave the second skin on, you can have quick showers but do not soak it. If it is not sticking follow the instructions for DAY 03 - 07.

If you find yourself having an allergic reaction, which sometimes happens. Take off the second skin and follow the instructions for DAY 03-07. If you are worried, send me a picture of the area and I can advise you on next steps.

Please read the consolidated NOØÖÕOÒ LIST below for what you should not do for the full 2 weeks.

DAY 03 – 07

  • Inflammatory: During this stage, the tattooed area may be swollen, red, and tender to the touch as the body's immune system responds to the tattoo ink and begins the healing process.

  • 1.Remove second skin.

I recommend doing this in the shower for easy clean up. Before you remove the second skin, give yourself a good wash to help maintain a sterile environment around the tattoo. To remove the second skin, pull up a corner and drag it away and up as if you are stretching it to make it longer, it will pull less on the tattooed area this way.

    2. Wash your tattoo (repeat this 3x a day)

Use MILD SOAP for all washes, the first wash is the most important. Be gentle. Use the flat of your palm to lather and rinse the soap throughly. You can repeat this process 2-3 times.

Wash your tattoo 3 times a day, using the same process as the first wash.

    3. Dry your tattoo

Use a clean towel, I recommend having a specific tattoo towel. Gently pat excess water and let it air dry.

    4. Apply cream

Use a very thin layer of mild white cream, no fragrances. You want to keep the area moisturized but not drowning, it’s a wound and needs to breathe.

DAY 07 – 14

  • Peeling, Flaking, Itching: The tattooed area may start to peel or flake as the body sheds the damaged skin. Think of it like a scab. This stage usually occurs around the end of the first week into the second week.

  • Wash and dry your tattoo 2x a day, using the same method from Day 03-07.

Apply a thin layer of cream, after each wash and if you notice the tattoo has dried out between washes you can re-apply.

Aftercare is very important.

Why? Proper care will ensure your new tattoo heals well & will give you the best long term result =)

Read the instructions + reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
